I took these shoes on a trip out of USA. They are comfy and look good. Unfortunately on our 4th day away part of the sole came off. With no other shoes for walking I confide with these. Still expected more for the price.*** UPDATE: Barely one year of sporadic use, a piece of the sole came unglued. Not the full sole... one of the dark pieces - which means the sole is made up of several glued together pieces!!!!I'd toss the shoes if they weren't so expensive and still pretty new.These need no breaking in period and are light and comfortable. Excellent Mephisto quality and I look forward to many miles of usage.Had another pair of Mephistos for years and decided to take a chance on these shoes. Great fit, easy to walk in,Shoes kept slipping off in back of the shoe when walking . My kids did not like that.Finally! Shoes that I can fit my orthotics into that don't look like granny shoes. They look and feel great. They remind me of vintage Asics. I'm going to buy them in other colors.These are great shoes made with Gore-tex. They are a steal at this price!Comfortable!
