These boots are fantastic & I have received so many compliments. The color is a perfect cognac and looks great with dark denim jeans. Thinking of ordering them in black, too, as they are SO comfortable. I don't actually zip them up all the way since it becomes almost too tight around the ankle and slightly digs in after walking a ways ( and I have small ankles), so I zip them roughly half way and pull my pant leg over them (yes, you can do with very skinny jeans) to hide the zipper. Highly recommend! I debated between a 7 and 6.5 as I am a 7 in flat shoes/sneakers and 6.5 in heels. 6.5 was perfect and I can even wear a thin sock with them.
